Fresh off a narrow win over the Houston Texans, the Kansas City Chiefs sit in first place in the AFC West and are easy Super Bowl favorites with an 11-3 record, meaning all eyes are on them.

And some look closer than others – with no less sincere, heartfelt eyes – to at least one player in particular.

Martha, a 99-year-old resident of Hickory Estates in Hermitage, Missouri, wrote a magical note to Santa asking for just one thing for Christmas: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Dear Santa Claus,

All I want for Christmas is Travis Kelce. If he could come to me, I would put on false eyelashes, lipstick and blush. All I did was stand there and glare at him. Santa, I hope you can do it.

love,

Martha”

The letter was released by the West Central Missouri Community Action Agency, which said Hickory Estates residents were asked to drop the big guy a line to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

People in the comments section were rooting for Martha, hoping the 33-year-old Super Bowl champion would grant her holiday wish.

“That would be awesome Travis. A dream come true!!!” said one man.

“Ah, hope Travis Kelce see it!!” – commented another.

“I hope your Christmas wish comes true!” someone said.

Kelce was recently passed over by Shannon Sharpe for the fourth-most receiving yards all-time by a tight end in the Chiefs’ 30-24 win over Houston, according to NFL.com.

McClatchy News has reached out to the Chiefs for comment, but has not yet heard back.
