Atlanta police are investigating the death of a man this morning at a gas station on Campbellton Road in southwest Atlanta.
According to a police report, officers responded shortly before 4:30 a.m. to a call about a person shot at the BP gas station at 3550 Campbellton Road SW.
Upon arrival, police officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
