Thursday will be a much cooler day than today with temperatures only in the low to mid 50s, but the sun will return later in the week.
It’s been a dull day in Middle Georgia with rain, thunderstorms and clouds, but we’re already seeing some clearing tonight behind a cold front.
A cold front is starting to pick up our winds a bit, so expect gusts up to 25 mph overnight and tomorrow.
Sunshine and clear skies will help us warm to the mid to low range on Thursday.
Thursday evening will be chilly with temperatures below freezing.
Friday will be our coldest day of the next seven, with temperatures only in the low 50s, but clear skies remain.
We’ll start the next warm-up on Saturday with highs in the 60s, but a more unsettled pattern returns on Sunday.
A storm system will bring another round of showers to the region Sunday afternoon, continuing into early Monday.
Some of us could see patches of heavy rain, but no severe weather is expected.
The chance of rain will continue for most of next week with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
The models haven’t really settled on much for next week, so we’ll have to keep a close eye out for serious potential.
