Blackberry Elixir recipe from Gypsy Kitchen
Ingredients:
2 blackberries
1 sage leaf
1 ounce of honey
1/2 ounce lemon juice (preferably with 2-3 lemons squeezed in)
Top with tonic
Directions:
Add blackberries, sage, lemon juice and honey to a shaker.
Add ice.
Shake vigorously to break up the berries, about 15-20 times.
Pour the ingredients into a tall glass.
Finish with a toner. (Mediterranean toner works best)
