This recipe comes from Gypsy Kitchen Manager Chris Lamara. This Buckhead staple offers a Spanish-style menu with Moroccan and Indian influences. Try this taster at home, then head to Gypsy Kitchen to enjoy their delicious menu.

Blackberey Elixir from Gypsy Kitchen.

Blackberry Elixir recipe from Gypsy Kitchen

Ingredients:

2 blackberries
1 sage leaf
1 ounce of honey
1/2 ounce lemon juice (preferably with 2-3 lemons squeezed in)
Top with tonic

Directions:

Add blackberries, sage, lemon juice and honey to a shaker.
Add ice.
Shake vigorously to break up the berries, about 15-20 times.
Pour the ingredients into a tall glass.
Finish with a toner. (Mediterranean toner works best)
