Savannah Alderwoman presents the 3rd Annual Kwanzaa Krawl

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Council President Kesha Gibson-Carter presents the 3rd Annual Kwanzaa Crawl, which highlights the cultural significance of Kwanzaa.

The event will take place every evening of each Kwanzaa holiday, starting at 7:00pm on Monday, December 26th through Sunday, January 1st. Members can visit multiple locations, including the Pooler and Tybee restaurants this year, as well as the Savannah restaurants.

This week-long event seeks to highlight local restaurants, artists and vendors that support Savannah’s African-American culture. Officials say there will be activities for children throughout the week, and donations and proceeds will be collected to benefit Save our Youth Savannah.
