Florida Football Schedule What You Need To Know: Second Half
In the first half of the season Florida will welcome itself home, and then comes a weird turn.
Six of the first seven games are held in Gainesville, and three are freight roads from Tennessee. The bagpiper schedule gets paid in the second half of the season with four trips from home in five weeks. Florida will play just one home game against South Carolina from Oct. 15 before the finish.

It’s not easy.
The second half is a monster, home games against Utah and East Washington are unlikely, and reciprocal dates against Georgia and Texas A&M will be difficult.
But then again, Alabama is gone. LSU will be a factor in the SEC X – to be good, while more like a mystery – Florida may still take a while, and there’s no one on the list – at least before the game with Georgia – that Florida can’t and shouldn’t beat if everything works .
However, if Billy Napier has Florida even close to being just decent, six wins won’t be a problem until home wins are credited early.
