Versa ABC, a new manufacturing facility owned and operated Versa Studioopened in Manchester, England.
One of his first clients is the BBC show One’s Morning Live, which will be broadcast from space.
The 5,000-square-foot television and film space is located on the top two floors of the ABC building in Manchester, making it nicknamed “Studio in the Sky”.
Overlooking downtown Manchester the space offers industrial galleries, dressing rooms, a production office and green rooms.
Versa also plans to take over the Manchester Studios complex, which will soon open its doors. The company is also working with the Department of Technology and Media Providers to give content creators access to studio inventory.
These two locations in Manchester join Versa London, which was launched in December 2021. The company also plans to add five more studios – including at least one in Leeds – to its portfolio in 2023 with a total area of 55,000 square feet. Two of the five will be equipped for television broadcasting, and the remaining three will be equipped for special productions, including a recording studio.
Versa Studios ’ambition is to create a“ core facility network ”covering 330,000 square feet across the UK, which boasts“ unprecedented downtown connectivity ”and“ high-tech, state-of-the-art COVID-19 security specifications ”to post everything from elite dramas to panels and quizzes.
