It’s not every day that an international vacation rental pops up on the holiday radar like a warm “giant hug,” but then again, this is no ordinary rental.
It is called Hideaway under the stars and it’s a charming two-bedroom, five-bed, one-bathroom Airbnb tucked away in Scotland — and, according to the listing, every bit as mystical as the photos suggest.
“Our charming and award-winning hideaway is nestled in the Moray countryside in the foothills of Ben Rhynes with spectacular views from every window,” the listing reads.
“It is truly unique, charming and architecturally designed to provide a fun and nurturing escape from the pressures of everyday life. It has been compared to a giant hug. this is a place that, upon entering, one cannot help but smile!”
The pet-friendly space has won multiple awards and is “built to evoke total relaxation with its circular shape, use of natural materials and open-plan design to easily bring family and friends together,” the listing notes.
Entertainment is provided if you’re looking for something to do during your stay (besides simply exploring the amazing surroundings), such as playing board games and reading.
Do you want to connect with the outside world? There is unlimited — and free — Wi-Fi.
The apartment currently has a five-star rating and many guests have been impressed during their stay.
“It’s a magical place to hang out,” one person said. “The environment and the minute attention to detail make you feel loved and cared for. It’s romantic and private, and you’re sure to feel relaxed and de-stressed after your visit.”
“It really is a very unique and special place,” commented another guest. “From the minute we stepped inside it felt warm and welcoming and for the next hour we continued to notice ‘new’ things around it.”
“Absolute magic,” someone said. “Stayed there 4 nights, could have easily done another 40! So quiet and lots of lovely walks close by. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!”
