The Bib County Sheriff’s Office claims the tip-off, summoned to the Macon Regional Criminal Service, led to a 16-year-old man who led to a 16-year-old boy. The suspect was in the 1300 quarter on Sanford Drive. He was taken into custody at about 4 pm on Wednesday, February 16.
The teenager was taken to the Macon Youth Detention Center. He has been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of first-degree child abuse and four counts of aggravated assault. He is being held without a subscription.

MACON, GA (41NBC / WMGT) – The Bib County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Sunday at 9:30 p.m. at 584 Emery Highway, which is a Quick Serve gas station.
It is reported that two men were killed in a car in the parking lot. When MPs arrived, they found that 32-year-old Trey Marcel Smith and 27-year-old Debarius Devante Sanford, both from Macon, were not responding. Sanford and Smith were taken to Navicent Health, where officers later declared them dead. Investigators are still working to find out what caused the shooting. No one else was hurt.
The suspect is described as a man of average build, dressed in a dark color, with a mask and hood on his face. He was last seen running down Womack Street.
