BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) – A Bluffton man was arrested Friday on child molestation charges.
In accordance with Beaufort County Sheriff’s OfficeDonald Charles King, 71, is charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
In a news release, investigators said they received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led them to King, as well as another man accused of similar crimes in Charleston.
Investigators said King distributed and actively possessed child sexual abuse material.
The charges carry a maximum of 10 years in prison each if King is convicted.
