Arizona football schedule What you need to know: who is missing Wildcats from the Northern Division Pac-12?
The North Pac-12 doesn’t have many teams that Arizona would be very happy to miss, but not getting Oregon and Stanford is a slight disappointment.
It would be nice to miss Oregon, but it’s a home game in early October. The state of Washington is on the list, but at least the Wildcats shouldn’t go to Pullman in late November, and the game with Washington in Seattle on Oct. 15 and Cal on Sept. 24 shouldn’t matter given the weather.
Arizona Football Schedule What You Need to Know: Where to Win?
It’s a recovery process in the second year of the Jed Fish era, but …
Going to San Diego as the first opponent in a new era of Aztec football – it opens a whole new Snapdragon stadium – is not good. The location of Mississippi and North Dakota is also not a plus.
Given the non-conference plan, there is a home game against Colorado. This may be the only game outside of NDSU’s visit that Arizona may prefer.
Arizona football schedule What you need to know: what does it all mean?
Start with the positives. The Wildcats have a lot of teams in Tucson.
After moving to San Diego, four of the next five games are at home, the last two – including Arizona – at Arizona Stadium, and in the middle of the season, three away games on four dates are broken into a week-long break.
It will still be difficult to get close to six wins and the right to participate in the cup.
