New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose Friday will perform a minor procedure on the right ankle, the team announced. There are no terms for his return.
A veteran of the guard passed surgery on the ankle on Dec. 22 after an injury last week against the Houston Rockets.
Knicks too agreed to close a veteran of the guard Kemba Walker for the rest of the season on Thursday.
Prior to the injury, Rose averaged 12 points per game with four rebounds and three assists, appearing in 26 competitions for the Knicks this season.
On Friday, the Knicks begin the second half of the season against the Miami Heat. The Knicks have a record of 25-34, making them 12th in the Eastern Conference.
