Ford there is recalling the 330,784 Mustang 2015-2017 model years due to fears that their rear view cameras may be too dim to use or simply turned off.
The problem is due to a faulty wiring harness inside Mustang a rear deck cover that can weaken or damage. Fixing this problem is thankfully fairly simple and involves replacing either the strap pad, or, in some cases, the rear view camera itself.
This recall, like all recalls, will be made free of charge by your local Ford dealer. Owners of affected cars can expect to receive a message from Ford in the mail around March 7.
