What you need to know:
Tuesday will be a cold start, almost frost, but the afternoon will be milder with a maximum of about 60 with mostly sunny skies. Warming will continue on Wednesday, when it reaches the mid and over 60s, with a slight sunny sky.
Showers are possible in front of the cold front on Thursday. The best chance of rain is only late day and night. Thunderstorms and heavy rains are possible. It is still early, but it seems that the best chances for stronger storms are in the west and northwest of Georgia. We will continue to watch it for you this week.
On Friday at the beginning of the day the rain will probably go away, and on the weekend dry weather will return. Highs are expected in the 50s from Friday to Sunday.
