Forecast: Storms are raging across Georgia tonight The weather

Windy and warm weather tonight will turn wet when a thunderstorm passes through northern Georgia. Wind gusts of 35-45 m / s are possible before and during thunderstorms. The storms leave before dawn on Friday, and dry weather is expected over the weekend.

Forecast for Friday

Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Gusty wind. Much colder. The temperature in the evening drops to 30’s.

  • Chance of Rain: 0%

What you need to know:

After a cold start on Saturday, the temperature will rise to mid to above 50 degrees in the sunny afternoon. The wind will be northwest, 10-15 m / s. On Saturday night it will be cold again, the temperature will drop to 30 degrees. On Sunday, expect sunlight and a maximum of 50 to 60.

On President’s Day there will be variable cloudiness with light rains, short-term rains are possible. This is the beginning of a pattern change that brings mild and humid weather for most of next week. In the middle of the week showers and thunderstorms are possible, maximum 60 to 70.
