SAVANNA, GA (WSAV) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a shooting by an officer in southern Savannah.
According to a statement from the Savannah Police Department, the GBI was asked to investigate a shooting involving an officer that occurred around 4:30 a.m. Saturday on the 9000th quarter on White Bluff Road.
Police say the adult man received non-life-threatening injuries taken to hospital. None of the officers were injured during the incident.
The investigation was undertaken by GBI.
