Help Name the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center an “Ambassador Squirrel”

ROANOKE, VA (WFXR) — The Southwest Virginia Roanoke Wildlife Center is asking for the community’s help in choosing the name of the next education ambassador. She has four short legs, a bushy tail and small, prickly ears – an eastern gray squirrel.

The Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center staff picked their favorite squirrel names, and Star City members picked the final names: Baldwin, Pecan, Peanut and Peanut Butter. Each vote costs $5 and votes are accepted online.

Voting will end on Tuesday, March 7 at 9:00 p.m
