Senate candidate Herschel Walker made a stop in Forsyth on Wednesday.
FORSYTH, Ga. (41NBC/WMGT) – Senate candidate Herschel Walker made a stop in Forsyth on Wednesday.
As part of his Unite Georgia Bus Tour, Walker spoke at Meadows Clay Sports, discussing several topics including inflation, identity politics and attitudes toward the military and police.
Walker was adamant about respecting both the military and the police, and vowed to make sure he would work with them to change the public’s perception of them if elected.
“This country was built on immigrants, right?” he asked. “But we are also built on laws. We also have laws in this country and a country without laws is chaotic and we don’t need to be in a chaotic world because we were going in the right direction, but what we have done now is not the kind of person in Washington who does deal for us.”
After his performance, the audience had the opportunity to meet Walker and take pictures with him.
