Following the recent update of its popular RC range worldwide, KTM is now developing an update for the 390 Adventure that was spotted during overseas testing. Based on details from the latest spy shots, the new 390 Adventure will be a more dedicated off-road vehicle than the existing model.

The recently spotted motorcycle could be an upgrade to the next generation of the current model, or it could be a friendlier avatar labeled “Enduro”. However, since KTM typically introduces generation updates in 5-7 years, this seems like the right time for the next generation 390 Adventure.

Spyware images also suggest that one of the model’s biggest upgrades will be the spoke wheels along with the large 21-inch block at the front. However, other key changes may include new frames, features and style updates. One completely new element of the motorcycle seen in the picture is the use of a completely revised pendulum.

The company may also make changes to the motorcycle’s transmission, but this has not yet been confirmed. As for its public debut, it is still in the middle of development, so expect it to be ready only by the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.

Meanwhile, KTM is preparing to launch its latest generation RC390 in the Indian market. The motorcycle will go on sale in the country in the coming weeks. It has already debuted in the world as a replacement for the latest generation model.
