There’s a new couple on the block, and according to entertainment streets, it’s actor Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Gigi Hadid!
A source close to @UsWeekly exclusively tells @UsWeekly that the Titanic actor, 47, and the model, 27, are officially dating and “have a ton of friends in common.” The source adds that “everyone is excited to see them together, even if it caught a lot of people by surprise.” The insider continues: “Of course he thinks she’s beautiful, but he’s also a smart and cool character who has a very cultured and educated attitude to life.”
Earlier this month, a separate source exclusively told the publication that DiCaprio “set his sights on Gigi” following his split with ex-girlfriend Camila Marone earlier this year. There are now rumors that DiCap is dating younger women, but the insider adds: “Leo is playing it down, but there’s no denying that he has a type, or has until now. But at the age of almost 48, he has mellowed much more and hints to his friends that he is less interested in the playboy lifestyle.
Hadid was previously linked to singer Zayn Malik. They dated on and off for five years before officially splitting for good in October 2021. A source told the publication at the time: “Zayn and Gigi have quietly split. They had problems for a while and they tried to sort them out, but it didn’t work out.”
Gigi and Zayn have a 2-year-old daughter, Khai. The former couple appear to be on better terms as they celebrated their child’s birthday on Monday, September 19, with the model praising the former One Direction singer, 29, via social media.
