Josh Taylor vs. Jack Cattel
OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland – February 26, 2022
Ohara Davis believes Josh Taylor could stop Jack Catterle if the couple meet in an undisputed clash on Saturday night.
Davis, who signed the new Probellum, has fought the men and believes the “focused” Taylor can defend his super-lightweight belts by claiming a knockout victory in Glasgow this weekend.
Davis, who focuses on a clash with Ismael Barroso later this year with the support of his new promoter, does not see that the fight will take place at a distance of 12 rounds when the undisputed champion Taylor is in shape.
“I see Taylor winning the fight,” said Davis, who signed with Probellum last week.
“Keteral is a good opponent, but he didn’t fight at the level that Taylor fought.
“If Taylor shows up, it should be an easy job for him. I think Taylor is stopping him. If he is in shape and if he was concentrated in the camp, he can stop him. “
Davis (23-2), who has spent the last two weeks sparring with the dangerous Hovhannes Bachkov in Dubai, says Kateral’s inaction will work against him.
“Taylor has also been busy, but Katherle hasn’t in the last few years,” Davis added.
“Taylor fought with champion after champion after champion – he is on the break.
“Keteral has not been in the result, he has been ranked No. 1 in the WBO rankings for the past few years and he hasn’t made much noise, but he has a chance to hit.”
