King Itaum against Jiri Krupa
York Hall, Bethany Green, London, England – March 11, 2022
FOR YOUNG LIGHT HEAVY FEELINGS King Itaum everything will be planned with his professional experience to date and future plans are already outlined in writing.
The 21-year-old from Chatham has won five impressive victories since winning a professional gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games, and he knows where he is headed – and that includes a lot of equipment in the form of World Cup belts.
Carol returns to the ring at York Hall on March 11 in support of Chris Burke, who is vying to win the British super-lightweight champion against Mark Leach, and he describes himself as largely pleased with the direction of his career now, in which he has become young screen regularly on BT Sport.
“I’ve had five fights – all on TV – and I’ve been very active,” King Dev Sani told Unibet Lowdown. “So I had opportunities given the situation we were in when a lot of boxers couldn’t box, so it would be very ungrateful if I said I wasn’t happy.
“I’m happy with the way things are going and always focus on what’s in front of me. The next is the most important battle. My team and I always watch the ball and always train. “
Just in case he ever forgets or strays from where he is headed, the King reveals that his ambitions are noted at his bedside and even pinned to the wall. The word “indisputable” is a personal favorite.
“Actually it’s a little notebook! Funny, I have written there a British title and all the major world titles. I printed it out and posted it on the board, so every day I see in it my goal and what I’m working on.
“It’s about getting to know what’s in store for me, because, after all, a ship without a destination won’t go anywhere. I believe this is one of the things that sets me apart from other boxers.
“Visualization is a completely different topic, but I also believe in it.”
One thing he visualizes and can be sure of is the impact he expects his younger brother Rick to make in sports. Rick is a 17-year-old amateur heavyweight who considered himself a star, and King reports that the pair is firmly on the same wave.
“My relationship with Rick I would call competitive, but it’s also a crazy relationship. We understand each other, get along well, he trusts me, I trust him and, in my opinion, he is the only one who can know what I really feel.
“He’s my blood brother, but he also gets into the ring as well as an amateur and will be a professional when the time comes.
“I know how far he can go and he shocks the world when he gets that opportunity because he has shocked us since he started boxing, at the age of 13 he abandoned adult men.
“Now it’s only a matter of time before he explodes on stage and everyone learns about him.”
Chris Burke (10-0) will meet Mark Leach (17-1-1) for the vacant UK super-lightweight title at York Hall on March 11 live on BT Sport.
The card also features the exciting super-lightweight Frank Arnold (8-0-1), the Olympic gold medalist Karol Itauma (5-0) in the light heavyweight division, the undefeated Irish super-lightweight Villa Hayden (2-0) and the super-lightweight Josh Franham (4-0). -0).
