Lisa Edelstein comes out of “9-1-1: The Lonely Star” after playing Gwyneth Morgan, wife of Rob Lowe’s ruler Owen Strand and mother of T.K. The trend of Ronan Rubinstein, Variety learned exclusively.
Edelstein’s departure was hinted at in the final moments of Monday’s episode of “The Lonely Star” when TC received a devastating phone call informing him that his mother had been killed. However, at this hour, “Red vs. Blue” does not actually show Gwyn’s death, and fans of “Lonely Star” will have the opportunity to see her again before she officially leaves.
Variety may confirm that the farewell to Edelstein will take place next week in the series “9-1-1: The Lonely Star” next week, in an episode that will undoubtedly make the audience cry at home – and TC and Owen on screen.
Here is the official description of this episode entitled “In the unlikely event of an emergency”: when Gwyn has an emergency, Owen and T.K. go to New York, but the plane is experiencing a mechanical failure. T.K. recalls how Gwyn helped him go to rehab many years ago.

Edelstein is best known for her role as Lisa Caddy in Fox’s “House,” as well as for her roles in Bravo’s “Friendship Guide to Divorce,” the NBC series “West Wing” (in which she co-starred with Lowe) and Netflix’s “Cominski.” Method, ”among many others. She debuted in “Lonely Star” in the premiere of Season 2 in January 2021. She had a repeat role in the show’s second season, and she was featured in seven of the season’s 14 episodes. In the third airing season, she appeared in two of the first seven episodes, and the upcoming eighth became her last episode.
