The ATL in rugby has confirmed the addition of Frederic Henry-Ajudo and Louis Sitama to its list for the remainder of the 2022 Premier League rugby season. Both players used to be part of the club, but neither played in the regular season.
Henry Ajudois is a former professional footballer who joined the ATL on the eve of the first season of 2020. He appeared in their first pre-season game against NOLA Gold but then left the team with the intention of representing Nigeria in the World Cup qualifiers. These dreams shattered when The Nigerian federation was disbanded by government officials and then dismissed from World Rugby in May 2021. As a result, he retains the right to participate in the United States.
The 28-year-old footballer is primarily a flanker, but also played in the American Rugby Premier Championship for Life University. Henry Adjudau picked up for the Hartford Harpooners in the December Freetail 7s. Currently, the ATL is missing in the back row: Jason Dam is still recovering from knee surgery, and Ross Deacon was injured in the second half of the game last weekend against rugby in New York.
The 25-year-old Sitama was acquired by ATL last June from Austin Gilgronis. The center of Samoan origin was selected 4th in the overall standings 2020 Collegiate Call after a great performance with the AIC Yellow Jackets. He made his MLR debut as a replacement for AG vs. NOLA in April but did not see playing time with the Ratlers.
