Soxle: The White Sox Word Game (February 25, 2022)

Happy Friday, Soxle fans! We made it to the weekend.

Looks like I relaxed you guys a little bit yesterday. Congratulations to @ Whitesoxgalcj88, @Soxsideboys_, @ToddHertz, @ baseballstahl44 and @ TheNaz13 with getting the puzzle on the first try!

I don’t know how easy / difficult it is, but we’ll see.

Soon, our reminders: Soxle is our version of Wordle with the White Sox feature. The rules are the same as in the popular word game, except that all the words will be on the White Sox theme! If you are new to all of this, here are the basics:

  • You will have six attempts to guess the word of the day, with feedback for each guess using colored tiles:
    • Green: The letter is in the word and in the right place.
    • Yellow: A letter in a word, but not in that place.
    • Gray: The letters are nowhere in the word.
  • When all the characters light up green, you guessed the word correctly.

Our leaderboard continues to grow every day – now 67 the players are strong! The full leaderboard is below.

It’s still more important than ever for you to share your results tagging us on social media, replying to our tweets about Soxle and using the hashtag #Soxle. You can also make up for any missed days – keep up with the leaderboard because you missed a day! All our archives are at the bottom of the page. If you look at the full leaderboard and your score looks wrong, send me (@ jlazowski14) DM and I will definitely update your results!

How well do you know your openings? Test your knowledge below!

Topic: Opening of the White Sox opening day

Hint: this player was part of the White Sox Opening Day somewhere between 1995-2015. Looking for his last name.
