Northern Arizona: The Department of Strength and Conditioning of the University of Northern Arizona is currently accepting applications for 10-15 volunteer interns for SUMMER 2022 (May 31 – July 29). These are gratuitous positions. Applicants must seek a career in strength and conditioning and actively pursue if they have not yet received certification from the NSCA or CSCCa. Interns will gain experience and become familiar with all aspects of NCAA Division I’s various sports training, including football, men’s and women’s basketball and others. Responsibilities include; practical coaching, assistance in the daily operation of the facility, assistance in various technologies such as Tendo units, Vald Products and Run Rockets, participation and completion of the curriculum, and maintenance of facilities / equipment. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume and three references in one PDF file to Deputy Head Coach Stein Emrick at kristine.emrick@nau.edu.
