The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the driver of the vehicle involved in the South Valley shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in a South Valley homicide Thursday. Supposedly, deputies responded to the shooting at the bus stop on Isleta Boulevard only after 2 p.m. and Perry Road.

Deputies who arrived found a man who had been shot. He later died in hospital. Witnesses told deputies the man who shot the man fled in an older model, light blue and rusty Chevy El Camino.

Detectives are asking citizens to help identify the driver. Anyone with information is asked to call 505-967-6522 or email ViolentCrimes@bernco.gov.
