The video shows a raccoon falling from the ceiling of a Louisiana dining room

Students at Louisiana State University were having dinner in Dining Room 459 when a raccoon suddenly made its way through the ceiling.

A video posted on social media on Wednesday, February 16, shows students screaming and climbing on tables and chairs as a raccoon runs around, sniffing backpacks and food left on tables.

LSU did not immediately respond to a request for comment from McClatchy News.

One TikTok user filmed a video of a meeting with wildlifeincluding someone trying to shove a raccoon into a big trash can with a broom.

“I’m just afraid there’s in my (book) bag disease“- said student Daniel Gipson to the university student newspaper LSU Reveille. “It’s funny to look back now, but at the moment I’m injured. I definitely lost my appetite. “

Students drove a raccoon into a corner near the pasta area to keep it from running, a student newspaper reported. Eventually the raccoon was captured.

“Raccoons can carry madness, which is transmitted to humans, pets and animals, “- said the city of Batan Rouge on its website. “If a raccoon bites a person, you need to call a doctor immediately.”
