Ottawa police announced on Friday that some protesters were “arrested” during an operation to clean up protesters. Canadian coronavirus restrictions.
“There is a large police presence on Nicholas Street, protesters are advised to leave immediately. Some protesters surrender and are arrested,” Ottawa police wrote on Twitter. “We ask the protesters to keep the peace and the law.”

The operation came after police charged two organizers of the Freedom Convoy, Tamara Leach and Chris Barber. after their arrests yesterday.
