End Zone Game of the Week Preview: Warner Robins vs. Cartersville, Pt. 2 – 41NBC News

The End Zone Game of the Week is scheduled for Friday, December 2nd at 7:30pm at McConnell-Talbert Stadium.

MACON, Ga. (41NBC/WMGT) — The last game of the week in the End Zone features a team used to playing in the latter stages of the playoffs, the Warner Robins Demons.

The Demons will host the Cartersville Hurricanes for a chance to advance to the GHSA 5A State Championship.

If Warner Robins survives this game, they will reach the finals for the sixth straight season; however, this year was much more difficult than previous years.

The Demons started the season 1-4, suffering their most losses since 2016. The team lost several seniors to their second state championships, so this year’s seniors had to take on an important leadership role.

“Just the fact that some of these seniors were on the team last year and on the team in previous years, seeing the leadership that those teams had. We embraced it and now we’re trying to keep it within the program,” said Vic Burley, a Demon senior defensive lineman and Clemson commit.

The End Zone Game of the Week is scheduled for Friday, December 2nd at 7:30pm at McConnell-Talbert Stadium.
