The Charles Boggini Company has recalled four of its products, including some soft drinks, due to undeclared preservatives, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced in an enforcement notice.
According to the FDA notice, the recalled products failed to disclose multiple chemicals and preservatives, including a dye linked to cancer. The concentrated beverage maker voluntarily issued the recall and declined to comment further.
The FDA mandates that companies disclose any dyes, preservatives, and other chemicals used in manufacturing products to avoid fines or recalls.
